The Extraordinary Meeting of Heaven

The great hall of Heaven was filled with angels. Gabriel, the Trustworthy, struck the gavel and announced:

"Honored angels, today's agenda is an important address from the Almighty."

He then turned toward God.

"Almighty Lord, the floor is yours."

God smiled and began:

"Thank you all for gathering here.

At our last meeting, I heard rumors circulating among some of you. Apparently, there are those who believe I have grown old and that it may be time to replace me with another god.

To be honest, such rumors do not offend me. I have heard many like them before.

But today I want to clarify something once and for all.

Listen carefully.

I am less a person than I am a symbol—a symbol of the order and the laws that govern the universe.

I have neither created a Heaven nor a Hell.

Those who, throughout history, have claimed to be my representatives on Earth were never appointed by me. In fact, I do not even know many of them.

I have never called any human being my servant, because I have no need for servants, nor do I require worship.

I love all my creations equally.

If you wish to describe me in a single word, let it be love, mercy, compassion, and justice—not hatred, vengeance, or vanity.

Some have told you that you need an intermediary to reach me—a prophet, a priest, a mullah, a rabbi, or some other religious authority.

That, too, is their invention.

Reaching me is much simpler than you imagine. Just as touching a button on your phone instantly connects you with someone on the other side of the world, you can connect with me directly.

You need no third party.

You do not need to travel to a sacred place, climb a mountain, or visit a shrine to find me.

I am everywhere.

You do not need to sacrifice an animal to please me.

You do not need to kill another human being in the hope of earning Paradise or winning my approval.

Whoever told you otherwise was speaking for themselves, not for me.

The same is true of Satan.

If I wished, I could erase Satan in an instant. Yet nothing essential would change, because Satan, too, is only a symbol—the symbol of darkness, ignorance, and evil.

The universe has always been shaped by two opposing forces: love and justice on one side, hatred and ignorance on the other.

I represent love, mercy, and justice.

Satan represents evil, hatred, and darkness.

Whether I exist or not, whether Satan exists or not, these opposing forces will remain part of existence. They are among the deepest mysteries of the universe.

Every human being is free to choose which side to stand on.

No one is born condemned, and no one is born chosen.

Choice is the greatest gift humanity has been given.

In the end, it is not your rituals that define your destiny, but the choices you make."
